The Pearl Roadshow 20” Starter Pack Drum Kit is an entry-level kit aimed at learners and beginners that provides everything you need to start playing all in one package. You get the brilliant 5-piece Roadshow kit and also receive a set of Pearl Roadshow hardware containing cymbal stands, snare and hi-hat stand, a stool and a bass drum pedal. The drum shells of the Roadshow are crafted from 9-plies of bonded Poplar, moulded and shaped in order to create a single air resonance chamber to better project the note emitted by each strike of the drum. These shells also feature hand-cut 45° bearing edges for the optimum fitting of your drum heads, for increased tension consistency and a drum that’s much easier to tune – a very handy thing for an inexperienced player.
The Roadshow 20 x 16” bass drum possesses an extensive tuning range, enabling you to scale the vast tonal depths of its low, thumping bass frequencies. It also features useful locking, slip-free spurred feet and secure mounting brackets for the toms. To complete the set, you’ll receive a 14 x 5” snare – a dynamic drum with great sensitivity, able to cover a broad spectrum of expression, from vicious attack to the gentlest of ghost-notes.
The Roadshow kit is worthy of its low ticket-price alone, but Pearl has made it an even bigger bargain by including a 2-piece cymbal set with your Roadshow kit. A 16” brass crash/ride and a set of 14” brass/hybrid hats are enough to get you up and running and are sure to keep you in good stead until you feel ready to expand or upgrade your set. To ensure that your cymbals, hi-hat, and snare drum are always stable and in your prefered position, the Pearl Roadshow Hardware pack contains sturdy stands with double-braced tripod legs and interlocking tilter adjustments. There is even a great bass drum pedal and a double-braced throne.
As the icing on the cake, you’ll also receive two sets of sticks in a very useful professional stick-bag, ready to rock and keen to christen your kit as soon as you’ve set up.
